Modular Synthesis
The first 2500 series synth modules came out in the 70s and tended to be extremely expensive. They were mainly all discrete transistor designs with some op-amps as at the time op-amps were high cost. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound and were used by artists like The Who, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and so many more, giving us some of the greatest records and film soundtracks we’ve ever heard. Modular synths were a landmark development in electronic music and today, it’s about to get better.

This is the Behringer 2500 series MODAMP MODULE 1005. An authentic reproduction of the original “System 2500” circuitry from the 70’s that can fit in a standard Eurorack case. The best part? Make it Ring
The MODAMP MODULE 1005 is a feature rich ring modulator to create metallic and bell-like sounds as well as many other modulation effects, modulation can be applied to any signals such as a signal from VCO’s or LFO’s via the INA and IN B jacks and is fed out via the VCA output. The 1005 features INA and INB attenuators, an UNMOD gain control lets you set the gain when in UNMOD mode, a VCA with gain control and a choice of exponential or linear response, Ratio and tune controls allow you to control and balance the frequency of 2 external VCO’s for convenience. The illuminated UNMOD and MOD switches disable or enable modulation effects.

At Sky Music we are committed in offering the best prices in Australia. That is why on top of our Best Price Guarantee, we offer free shipping on most orders over $199.
Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

- Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure

To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.

Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
