At Sky Music, we take pride in offering a fantastic range of products, all sourced 100% from authorised Australian distributors. We know that sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and an item might develop a fault. When that happens, we’re here to help!

Our suppliers are incredibly supportive and easy to work with, ensuring a smooth process when handling warranty claims. We aim to make it as hassle-free as possible so you can get back to making music with your gear for years to come.

At Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase! If your new item isn’t quite right, you can return it for a refund, exchange, or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Just follow the simple steps below.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return, your item must be:
✔ Unused and in brand-new condition
✔ In its original packaging with all protective plastics intact
✔ Returned within 30 days of purchase

If these conditions aren’t met, we may reject the return or apply a restocking fee. Opened items may still be accepted at our discretion, so please contact us first if you’re unsure.

Items That Can't Be Returned

Some products cannot be returned due to hygiene, size, or special order conditions, including:
🚫 Woodwind, brass, harps, earphones, and microphones (for hygiene reasons)
🚫 Software (once opened or downloaded)
🚫 Bulky & oversized products (e.g. acoustic/digital pianos)
🚫 Special orders (custom or non-stock items)
🚫 Studio19 rental orders

How to Return an Item

1️⃣ Fill out our "Returns & Exchanges" form
2️⃣ Wait for our reply – we’ll send a Return Authorisation and instructions
3️⃣ Send your item back as per our instructions
4️⃣ Once received & inspected, we’ll notify you about your refund, exchange, or store credit

We aim to process all returns as quickly as possible so you can get back to making music! 🎵

Change of Mind? No Problem!

If your order isn’t quite what you expected, we happily accept change of mind returns, exchanges, and swaps under our 30-Day Returns Policy. However:
🚚 You’ll need to cover the shipping costs (both sending & returning)
📦 Contact us before returning so we can advise on freight costs

Important Shipping Info

📦 Return to Sender Fees: If your order is returned to us by the courier, you may be charged for both the original and return shipping costs.

📦 Shipping Insurance: While we insure all items sent from Sky Music, we cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost when being returned. If this happens, we recommend seeking reimbursement from the shipping provider.

Studio19 Rental Applications

The Studio19 rental application widget allows you to apply for products even if they’re out of stock. If you apply for an unavailable product, we’ll contact you about a backorder or pre-order.

At Sky Music, we strive to offer competitive pricing across our entire range. However, please note that all advertised prices are subject to change. This applies to:
✔ In-stock items
✔ Out-of-stock items
✔ Special orders and new stock arrivals

Price Match Policy – We’ll Review Any Fair Offer!

Found a lower price in Australia? We’re happy to review a price match request! 🎸🎶

For a price match to be approved, the item must:
✔ Be exactly the same model, colour, and style
✔ Be in stock at the competitor’s store
✔ Not be B-stock, scratch & dent, or similar
✔ Not be part of a sale, clearance, or promotional discount

We make it easy! Every product on our website has a Price Match request form so you can submit your request online. We’ll review your request within 24 hours, and if it meets all criteria, we’ll send you a discount code to use at checkout.

📌 Important Notes:

• Approved price matches and quotes are valid for 7 days. If expired, they will need to be reassessed.
• We do not price-match third-party sellers (e.g. Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Reverb). If you’re unsure, just ask!
• Free shipping does not apply to price-matched products—shipping will be at our discretion.
• Payment methods for price-matched items may be limited—ZIP Pay, ZIP Money, AfterPay, and similar third-party payment options may not be accepted for special pricing.
• Sky Music reserves the right to decline any price match requests at our discretion.

At Sky Music, we know that sometimes you need a little extra time to pay for your dream instrument or gear. That’s why we offer lay-by on any item, whether you’re shopping in-store or over the phone!

How Our Lay-By Works:

✅ We require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your item
✅ You have 90 days to complete the full payment
✅ If you change your mind or cannot complete payments, the initial 20% deposit is non-refundable, but any additional payments will be fully refunded

Special Order Items

If you’re ordering a special item just for you, it’s considered a lay-by and follows the same rules:
🎵 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required when placing your order
🎵 Your 90-day lay-by period starts when your item arrives in-store—we’ll notify you as soon as it’s here!
🎵 If you cancel or don’t complete payment, the 20% deposit is forfeited, but any additional payments will be fully refunded

Important Terms to Note:

📌 Price Lock-In: Once a deposit is paid, the sale price is final—we cannot adjust it after the agreement is made.
📌 Cancellation Window: You have 30 days to cancel your lay-by for a full refund of your deposit. After this period, cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
