The Metalworks “Effect” snare drums offer the useful option of having additional and special snare sounds as a part of your drum kit’s arsenal. A 3” depth steel shell with a half snare wire provides a sharp crack with a very short sustain. The newly-developed Mod-Tone system enables smooth and precise adjustment of snare wire tension. A MC69 single tom attachment is included for easier set-up. Need a little something extra for your drum kit, but aren't sure what you want? Sweetwater recommends that you try the TAMA Metalworks Effect Series snare.
This ultra-thin snare has a 1.0mm steel shell that gives it a sharp, cutting tone while the half-snare wire configuration provides a lively snap with a very short sustain. When you play it, this snare will jump right to the forefront of the mix and quickly get out of the way. Don't want to lug another snare stand into the venue? Not a problem, the Metalworks Effect Series snare includes an MC69 single tom attachment to eliminate the need for a stand. The TAMA Metalworks Effect Series snare comes with a set of triple-flanged hoops that make it easy to dial in the perfect tone.

Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
