1959 was a pivotal year in the annals of Stratocaster® history. It was the first year that modern features, such as rosewood fingerboards and the now-iconic 3-Color Sunburst finish made their initial appearance. The Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster® sports both a flat-laminated rosewood fingerboard and your choice of Chocolate Three-Color Sunburst, Faded Aged Sonic Blue or Fiesta Red finishes, as well as some other cool and rare features from the Stratocaster's formative years. The flash-coat lacquer finish lets the guitar breathe more freely and organically for singing sustain and warm tone. The neck features a vintage 7.25-9.5 compound radius, which we found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage-inspired models. It also features medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than regular vintage and very comfortable to play.
Other features found on this guitar include a 2-piece select alder body, tinted rift-sawn maple neck with '59 C-shaped neck profile, 21 medium vintage frets, Custom Shop hand-wound '59 Strat® single-coil pickups, 5-way switch, vintage wiring, 3-ply mint green nitrocellulose pickguard, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, bone nut, wing string tree and vintage-style tuning machines.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
