Pearl's meticulous attention to detail extends to the hand-treated interiors of the shells as well as tone-enhancing lugs and mounts. So whether you're looking for your first kit or a reliable touring gear, the Pearl Decade Maple line is a terrific place to start.
Drum makers and players have long favored maple as a shell wood. Its enhanced bass end and smooth mids and highs are well-suited to almost any musical genre. This is why maple drums are in such high demand among today's top players, studios, and drummakers. Decade Maple shells are made of six thin plies of maple with hand-treated bearing edges to ensure that they operate as well as kits costing several times as much.
The attention to detail that Pearl has taken into its Decade Maple series clearly outweighs its low price. Pearl's SST technology, which includes overlapping scarf-joint seams and patented AcoustiGlue, is used to create the thin 5.4mm shells. The bearing edges and the interiors of the shells are both hand-treated. The Mini-Lugs, Opti-Loc suspension mounts, and UniLock gearless tom arms are all designed with tour-ready specs in mind. - Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
