The 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the most sought-after guitars in the world, famously played by legends like Peter Green, Kirk Hammett, and Joe Bonamassa. Known for its rich sustain, warm resonance, and distinctive 1959 Rounded Medium C neck profile, the original model has become one of the most valuable vintage guitars of all time.
Now, Epiphone—working closely with Gibson Custom—offers the 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, a stunningly authentic recreation that captures the look, feel, and tone of the original at a fraction of the price. With its solid mahogany body, carved maple top with AAA flamed maple veneer, and long neck tenon construction, this reissue delivers vintage accuracy and modern reliability.
The one-piece mahogany neck with the 1959 Rounded Medium C profile is paired with a bound rosewood fretboard, mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays, and historically accurate side dot markers. Electronics are equally true to form, with USA-made Gibson Custombucker humbuckers, CTS® potentiometers, and Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors, giving you legendary Les Paul tones with clarity, warmth, and bite.
Finished in a Vintage Gloss Deep Cherry Sunburst and loaded with nickel hardware, the guitar is complemented by an Epiphone Deluxe “Single Ring” tuner set and period-correct ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge with aluminum tailpiece. A vintage-style brown hardshell case with plush pink lining and Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics is included.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
