The Yamaha PY-DSP is a premium 32-slot processing expansion designed specifically for Yamaha DM5 and DM7 series digital consoles. It provides additional processing capacity and access to high-end signal processing tools, giving engineers greater flexibility and control for demanding live sound, recording and professional audio workflows.
The PY-DSP provides 32 processing slots in a compact 16 × 2 rack-space format. It unlocks 32 processing slots for the DM5, while adding 32 additional slots to the DM7 alongside its existing 64 slots. This expanded processing capacity allows engineers to build more sophisticated signal chains for vocals, instruments and recording feeds.
Bundled premium plugins include Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5033 EQ, Portico 5043 Compressor and Dynamic EQ, along with additional premium effects. By bringing advanced processing into the Yamaha DM workflow, the PY-DSP provides expanded creative control and high-end processing capability for professional audio environments. Sky Music Australia offers the Yamaha PY-DSP for expanding the processing capabilities of compatible DM-series consoles.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
