Based on the iconic RangeMaster pedal, we created a new circuit that recreates the distinct characteristic of a germanium transistor, but with a single silicon transistor. This design provides a smooth transition into distortion and a broad usable range before full breakup just like the vintage originals, giving the connected amplifier added gain, warmth, and musical overtones.
To achieve chimey clean tones simply by lowering the guitar’s volume while still drawing out expressive overdrive, we precisely tuned the bias voltage to the transistor’s narrow silicon “sweet spot.” Vox's proprietary bias circuit makes this possible, delivering a balanced and dynamic tone reminiscent of classic 60s boosters. Combined with the BC108 can-type silicon transistor and modern thin-film resistors, the circuit offers excellent stability and significantly lower noise compared to vintage components.
Finally, the addition of a FAT switch enables a full-range boost that pairs exceptionally well with modern systems that rely on multiple devices for tone shaping. The Vox Treble Booster is a pedal designed to tame unwanted low frequencies while driving a tube amp to bring out its full character and achieve richer, more expressive overdrive. Legendary AC30 players almost invariably paired their amps with a treble booster, making it a hallmark of the classic setup.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
