The Vega-Trem VT1 UltraTrem Evolution builds on the acclaimed VT1 UltraTrem floating tremolo and adds a built-in blocking switch. With a flick of the switch the trem locks down like a fixed bridge, so you can drop into Drop D or open tunings for slide mid-set – then flick it back for the smooth, sensitive floating vibrato the VT1 is known for. It’s the ideal tool for gigging players who want to cover more ground without changing guitars.
At its heart is Vega-Trem’s patented fulcrum pivot, which replaces the traditional screw-supported pivot and all but eliminates friction for a smooth, noise-free action and excellent tuning stability. Precision machined and designed for Stratocaster-style guitars.
Features
- Floating tremolo with a built-in blocking switch
- Switch to blocked mode for Drop D, open tunings and slide – switch back for full floating vibrato
- Patented fulcrum pivot design for a smooth, low-friction, noise-free action
- Excellent tuning stability and sensitivity
- Precision-machined construction
- Designed for Stratocaster-style guitars
- Finish: Gold
