The Universal Audio Volt 4 Gen 2 is a compact 12-in/6-out USB audio interface designed for recording, mixing, mastering, streaming, and mobile production. It combines 32-bit converters operating at up to 192kHz with dual Tone Shaping Preamps, Auto-Gain, Clip Protection, a full-colour Smart Display, ADAT expansion, MIDI connectivity, and USB bus-powered operation.
The two Tone Shaping Preamps provide up to 60dB of gain, with three selectable character modes on each channel: Warmth for tube-style character, Focus for solid-state clarity, and Shine for the open character of a British Class A circuit. Independent 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones, while two front-panel hi-Z inputs provide dedicated connections for instruments.
Auto-Gain helps set recording levels quickly, while Clip Protection helps prevent unexpected peaks from affecting a recording. The full-colour Smart Display provides at-a-glance feedback on inputs, levels, and settings. Two additional line inputs and two line outputs allow integration of outboard gear, while the ADAT or S/PDIF optical input provides up to eight additional digital channels for system expansion.
Volt 4 Gen 2 also includes built-in loopback for combining live sources with computer audio, along with MIDI connectivity for controllers, keyboards, and synths. It integrates with the UAD Console app and LUNA, and includes the UAD Volt Studio bundle with 15+ UAD plugins and instruments, LUNA, Melodyne Essential, and additional software. USB bus-powered operation and compatibility with Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone make it suitable for both desktop and portable recording setups.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure

If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
