The Thomastik-Infeld IN345 Infeld Superalloy 5-string bass set delivers a modern, high-output tone engineered with a balanced spread across the entire frequency spectrum. Communicating with a full, well-rounded bass response, throaty mids, and solid treble without brittleness, this set provides an authoritative dynamic voice and exceptional low-end clarity for five-string bassists.
Featuring precision round wound construction over a hexagonal core, the IN345 uses a specialized Superalloy outer winding layer that retains warmth while remaining noticeably easier on your fretwork than traditional stainless or all-steel strings. Calibrated in a medium-tension .045–.125 gauge setup, this full set is optimized for 34-inch long scale electric bass guitars, delivering a balanced tactile feel and consistent projection from the high G down to the low B.
