The Thomastik-Infeld Infeld Blue DTIB100 (IB100) violin string set is designed to deliver a brilliant, focused tone with superior projection and instantaneous bow response. Part of the innovative Infeld tonal pairing system, the Blue set is specifically engineered to bring out clarity, brightness, and harmonic presence across all registers, making it an exceptional choice for modern performance spaces and solo repertoire.
The set pairs a tin-plated carbon steel E-string with synthetic composite core A-, D-, and G-strings. The A- and D-strings feature durable hydronalium windings for articulate nuance, while the G-string is wound with pure silver to provide a grounded, resonant low register without muddying the instrument's sound. The strings settle quickly, maintain pitch reliably through climatic shifts, and offer comfortable left-hand playability.
Calibrated in medium gauge for full-size 4/4 violins with a standard vibrating string length of 32.5 cm (12.8"), the DTIB100 set operates at a balanced total tension of 22.7 kg (49.9 lb). The E-string includes a versatile removable ball end, and each string is accented with color-coded peg ends featuring the signature Infeld Blue silk winding.

- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
