The TAMA Starclassic Performer MBS52RZS SKA 5-Piece Shell Pack in Sky Blue Aurora combines the mellow warmth of maple with the crisp attack and rigidity of birch to create a dynamic, expressive drum sound. Designed around TAMA's acclaimed Starclassic platform, this shell pack delivers studio-grade tone, dependable road-ready performance and the detailed craftsmanship expected from a professional drum set.
The Maple/Birch shells provide a balanced tonal character, combining the warmth and resonance of maple with the focused bite of birch. Premium die-cast zinc hoops provide consistent tuning and uniform bolt contact, contributing to a crisper attack and added high-end resonance. The Star-Cast mounting system further supports resonance and practical tom positioning.
Each shell is fitted with Evans drumheads for a versatile response across different playing styles. The toms feature Evans G1 coated batter heads with TAMA clear single-ply Power Craft II resonant heads, while the bass drum uses an Evans EQ4 clear batter head. Rubber-based claw hooks, Air Pocket rubber feet and a bass drum spur bracket with memory markers add practical performance features to this professional shell pack. Cymbals, stands and snare drum are not included.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
