The Strymon Olivera Vintage Oil Can Echo Pedal brings the mysterious, haunting sound of mid-century oil can delays into the modern era with remarkable depth, fidelity, and creative control. Inspired by the rare and unpredictable tone machines of the 1960s, the Olivera captures their warbly, dark, and liquid echo textures — while adding the precision, flexibility, and connectivity expected by today’s players.
At its heart lies an all-new, state-of-the-art algorithm developed from exhaustive research into the Tel-Rey era of electro-mechanical delay units. These original devices used a rotating can filled with conductive oil to create organic echoes full of motion, warmth, and subtle modulation. Strymon’s DSP engineers meticulously recreated every quirk and character trait of these early designs, giving Olivera a sound that’s simultaneously vintage, vibrant, and full of depth.
The Heads Control lets you toggle between two simulated playback heads or combine both for lush, complex rhythmic patterns. The Time control offers a range of 200–800ms, while the Regeneration and Intensity knobs interact beautifully to craft evolving, immersive textures that can move from subtle slapback to thick, cascading ambience. These tonal parameters let you sculpt anything from nostalgic surf delays to spacey, lo-fi dreamscapes.
The pedal’s advanced internal architecture supports independent left and right signal processing, unlocking true stereo operation with incredible spatial dimension. Its Class A JFET input preamp provides rich dynamics, pristine headroom, and ultra-low noise performance. Plus, with selectable buffered or relay-based true bypass, your signal integrity is always preserved.
Olivera isn’t just a boutique delay—it’s a fully equipped creative platform. Its dual-purpose 1/4-inch TRS input supports expression or MIDI control, allowing external manipulation of parameters in real-time. The USB-C port adds modern integration with DAWs and patch editors, giving access to all 300 onboard presets and deep customization options. Whether you’re building lush ambient layers or gritty experimental soundscapes, Olivera delivers a world of sonic exploration at your feet.

Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure
