The PUG Clap Stack - 15”/12”/10” with Bronze Rattles is a handcrafted cymbal stack designed to deliver tight, punchy clap-style effects with added metallic texture and precise dynamic control. Built for modern drummers seeking unique sound design tools, this stack combines stainless steel construction with bronze rattle washers to create a crisp, cutting response with complex tonal character.
It’s taken a while, but this is a custom interpretation of a clap stack designed for maximum control and musical versatility. Stainless steel has been chosen for the cymbals due to its availability and, more importantly, its superior feel and dynamic response for this type of instrument compared to traditional bronze. The bottom cymbal is intentionally oversized to allow bronze washers to be installed without affecting the spacing or interaction between the stacked cymbals, ensuring consistent articulation and feel.
Based in Sydney Australia, drummer / educator James Waples has been forging his own path as a cymbalsmith under the branding PUG Cymbals since 2019. As an active musician he has performed and toured with Australian / international jazz greats for the past 20 years. James currently divides his time between PUG Cymbals and as the drummer for indie artist Donny Benét. PUG Cymbals is focused on creating unique cymbals influenced by the great companies / independent cymbalsmiths of the past as well as exploring contemporary sounds for the future.

- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
