The PRS Wood Library McCarty Tremolo 408 Electric Guitar in Emerald brings the time-tested McCarty formula together with flexible 408 switching and an expressive PRS Gen III tremolo. A striking Flame Maple 10-Top, flame maple neck stained to match, and mahogany body provide a premium foundation for rich sustain, warmth, and clarity, while the carefully selected Wood Library appointments give this instrument a distinctive, collector-level character.
Dual PRS McCarty III humbuckers deliver a versatile combination of vintage-inspired warmth and contemporary articulation. The McCarty III neck pickup produces rich, full-bodied tones, while the bridge pickup offers crisp, articulate clarity with plenty of bite when pushed. PRS 408 switching expands the tonal palette with eight distinct pickup configurations, giving players a wide range of humbucking and single-coil-inspired sounds.
The McCarty Tremolo 408 is equipped with a PRS Gen III tremolo for expressive pitch control while maintaining excellent tuning stability, complemented by PRS Phase III tuners with distinctive wing buttons. A Pattern Vintage neck provides a full, substantial feel, while the ziricote fingerboard features binding and sparkling mother-of-pearl Old School Bird inlays with pink heart centres. Finished in Emerald with a premium Nitro lacquer finish and supplied with a natural-back hardshell case, this exceptional Wood Library instrument is available from Sky Music Australia.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
