The PRS Custom 24 is the quintessential instrument that started it all for Paul Reed Smith Guitars, defining the brand's core tone and playability since its legendary debut at the 1985 Winter NAMM show. This limited-edition iteration elevates the iconic solidbody platform with a visually spectacular, violin-carved Artist Grade Quilt Maple top finished in a striking high-gloss nitrocellulose Faded Indigo. A resonant Mahogany body and one-piece Mahogany neck provide a balanced foundation with strong midrange punch, natural sustain, and a rich acoustic character.
Designed for effortless playability, the Mahogany neck features the fast and comfortable Pattern Thin profile, paired with a premium Ebony fingerboard featuring a 10" radius and striking Old School Awabi Bird inlays. The 24-fret, 25" scale-length design provides the familiar Custom 24 playing experience, while the carefully selected woods and premium appointments give this limited-edition model a distinctive, high-end character.
Sonically, the Custom 24 is equipped with a calibrated set of PRS DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) treble and bass pickups. Designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS engineering team, these pickups deliver a wide-open sound with a distinct vocal character and balanced response across the frequency range. A PRS Patented Gen III Tremolo and Phase III Locking Tuners with Wing Buttons provide dependable tuning stability and excellent tone transfer, while the included PRS hardshell case offers protection for this exceptional instrument. Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
