A true genre-spanning original, Pearl's Black Steel Piccolo snare has been a mainstay in the set-ups of many a groove drummer for years. Its reduced diameter and depth make it quick, articulate, and powerful for everything from rimshots to unrestricted power drumming. Piercing, high volume snare with increased sensitivity.
The Black Piccolo. For over two decades, the S1330 Effect Snare is usually known simply as The Black Piccolo. That's because it has been so widely accepted as THE essential Piccolo snare sound. Drummers from student to professional have added it to their set ups to get that head-turning tonal bite and groove-centered liveliness. Its rolled steel shell produces an open cracking snap sound that's essential for accents and extra voice effects.
Its precision-fit tension rods and solid brass receivers deliver incredibly smooth and precise tuning, while the efficient CL05 dual-ended lug and 1,6mm triple-flanged hoops permit high-tension tuning and extended playing resilience.

At Sky Music we are committed in offering the best prices in Australia. That is why on top of our Best Price Guarantee, we offer free shipping on most orders over $199.
Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you.

- Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure

To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
- 30-Day Returns Policy
Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
