Say NO to blue tape with our reusable design that goes on in seconds, fully protects without damaging the fretboard and lasts 100's of fret jobs. Our high quality stainless steel is the perfect thickness at .008 (.20mm), uses a precision manufacturing process free of burrs, and leaves all edges smooth and rounded. Our innovative formed drop-down edges allow the rubber bands we include to hold the Fret Shield in place securely and keep the bands below the top surface to avoid damaging them during the polishing process. Fret Shields come in the most popular Fret Scale sizes and even include a convenient hang hole. - Our patent pending Fret Shield gives you total fretboard protection when performing fret work such as polishing, leveling and crowning on a GIBSON® Electric Guitar Fret Scale up to 22 frets. The shield was custom designed to cover most GIBSON® Electric Guitars (Les Paul, ES-335, SG and more). Not designed for GIBSON® acoustics guitars. Say no to blue tape and save time and money with this reusable design that goes on in seconds, fully protects without damaging the fretboard and lasts 100's of fret jobs.
- The tapered custom design has slot sizes that measure in width for the first 12 frets .145 (3.683mm) due to creative fret placement by guitar makers, and the remaining 10 frets are .125 (3.18mm). First fret Length: 2.095 (53.217mm). Last fret Length 2.497 (63.417mm). Fits all fret sizes (from narrow to jumbo) found on 6 string guitars.
- Our high quality stainless steel is the perfect thickness at .008 (.20mm). We use a precision manufacturing process free of burrs and leaves all edges smooth and rounded, so it protects the fretboard without damaging it.
- Our innovative formed drop-down edges allow the rubber bands we include to hold the Fret Shield in place securely and keep the bands below the top surface to avoid damaging them during the polishing process. The bands also help perfectly form the shield to every fretboard radius.
- Rigorously tested and designed to be used with power buffing wheels, power polishing pads and other polishing systems. Laser etched logo and size will withstand sanding and filing during fretwork. Extremely useful for protecting all unfinished (rosewood, ebony) and finished (poly and lacquer) fretboards. Convenient hang hole.

At Sky Music we are committed in offering the best prices in Australia. That is why on top of our Best Price Guarantee, we offer free shipping on most orders over $199.
Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you.

- Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure

To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
- 30-Day Returns Policy
Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
