Designed in close collaboration with Tommy Emmanuel, this signature model delivers the tone, playability, and durability demanded by a globe-trotting artist known for both delicate expression and ferocious attack.
Crafted with a AAA select spruce top and Queensland maple back and sides, the EBG808TE produces a rich, balanced sound with outstanding clarity and projection. The scalloped Maton X bracing enhances resonance, while the 808 body shape provides comfort without sacrificing volume. The neck, made from select Queensland maple, offers rock-solid stability for life on the road, ensuring peak performance from Nashville to Sydney.
Unique to this model is the Mother of Pearl “C.G.P.” inlay on the 12th fret, honoring the rare “Certified Guitar Player” title awarded to Tommy by Chet Atkins and shared with only a handful of legendary guitarists worldwide. Equipped with Maton’s AP5 PRO pickup system, the EBG808TE is stage-ready, delivering a natural amplified tone faithful to its acoustic voice.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
