The KRK Systems ROKIT 8 Generation Five is an 8" active studio monitor designed for mixing, mastering, music production, and critical listening. Part of the fifth generation of KRK ROKIT studio monitors, it combines a woven Kevlar aramid fiber woofer, a new 1" silk dome tweeter, onboard DSP, and three distinct Voicing Modes for flexible monitoring across different stages of the creative process.

The three Voicing Modes — Mix, Create, and Focus — provide the flexibility of three monitoring approaches in one system. Mix Mode delivers a flat frequency and phase response for mixing, mastering, and critical listening, Create Mode provides a more inspirational voicing for writing, producing, and casual listening, while Focus Mode concentrates on the midrange for detailed analysis of the frequency band where vocals and many instruments have the most energy.

DSP-driven Room Tuning provides 25 visual Graphic EQ settings to help minimise and correct problems in the acoustic environment, while the integrated LCD allows the EQ settings to be visualised. The KRK App provides real-time spectral analysis and EQ recommendations to assist with monitor placement, level matching, subwoofer level, and other setup parameters.

The ROKIT 8 Generation Five uses custom-designed bi-amplified Class D power amplifiers to drive its transducers efficiently at reduced operating temperatures. A scientifically tuned front-firing port supports accurate and tight bass reproduction, while high-density acoustic isolation foam helps minimise vibration transmission. Low Diffraction Baffle Design, magnetic faceplates, integrated mounting points, and a balanced XLR/1/4" TRS combo input add further flexibility for studio installation and monitoring.
