The KRK Systems ROKIT 5 Generation Five is a 5" active studio monitor designed for mixing, mastering, music production, and critical listening. Its onboard DSP provides three distinct Voicing Modes — Mix, Create, and Focus — allowing the monitor to adapt to different stages of the creative process without requiring separate sets of monitors.

Mix Mode provides a flat frequency and phase response for mixing, mastering, and critical listening, while Create Mode offers a more inspirational voicing for writing, producing, and casual listening. Focus Mode emphasizes the midrange band, where vocals and many instruments carry the most energy, making it useful for detailed midrange analysis.

The ROKIT 5 Generation Five features a 5" woven Kevlar aramid fiber cone woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter, driven by bi-amplified Class D power amplifiers. Its Low Diffraction Baffle Design is intended to reduce distortion and improve stereo imaging, while the front-ported bass reflex enclosure supports low-frequency performance.

Twenty-five boundary and tuning EQ combinations help minimize and correct acoustic environment problems, with the KRK Audio Tools App providing an Acoustic Real-Time Room Analyzer and EQ Recommendation tool. Magnetic faceplates, acoustic foam wedge isolation pads, integrated mounting points, and a balanced XLR/1/4" TRS combo input add further flexibility for studio installation and monitoring setups.
