This cajon features one ion (interchangeable heads), which can be chosen for the left or right side, from any of our range (Cuban, Kenyan, Guinean, Turkish Blue, Green or Black and Peruvian Birch). They’ve pushed the percussive capabilities of this instrument to the limit with a double resonance chamber design, isolating the sound of each individual element. Thanks to these independent resonance chambers, the ion produce a quick, clean response without sound interference. This design allows for more percussion surfaces, more interaction between highs and mids, and expanded possibilities.
The corners of the cajon are rounded (ergonomic edges), ensuring a secure strike and preventing injury. It also features non-slip feet for enhanced security and stability while playing. Like all ION cajons, the bass response is deep and powerful, thanks to its larger structure compared to conventional cajons and the bass output enhancer.
Finally, the cajon comes with a manual double-string tuning system, with two strings on each side (a total of 4 strings) for precise tone control. Additionally, it includes an innovative string sensitivity technology developed by us, ensuring the strings are correctly tensioned and properly touching the plate, guaranteeing an optimal sound response and excellent sound quality.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
