The Ibanez RG Series Electric Guitar is available now at Sky Music Australia. For over three decades, the RG has stood as the ultimate high-performance instrument in the Ibanez lineup, honed for speed, structural strength, and razor-sharp tonal precision.
Crafted with a solid Okoume body that delivers bright, solid acoustic resonance, this RG model features a fast 5-piece Maple/Walnut Wizard III neck topped with a 15.75"-radius ebony fingerboard, offset ring inlays, and 24 jumbo frets. Sonically, it is armed with active multi-voice Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers—an Alnico in the neck and a Ceramic in the bridge. Electronics include both a push/pull Voicing switch on the master volume knob and a dedicated coil-tap mini-switch, opening up a massive tonal palette from active high-output drive to articulate single-coil chime and fluid cleans. Complete with a Gibraltar Standard III bridge, locking tuners, gold hardware, and luminescent side dots, it delivers rock-solid performance on any stage.
Features
- Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers: Active Ceramic bridge and Alnico neck pickups offer explosive attack, high output, and noise-free operation.
- Dual Voice & Coil-Tap Switching: Features a push/pull volume voicing control plus a dedicated mini-toggle coil-tap switch for maximum tonal versatility.
- Wizard III 5-Piece Maple/Walnut Neck: Thin, flat, and fast 24-fret neck profile built for effortless speed soloing and long-term stability.
- Ebony Fingerboard with Jumbo Frets: 24 jumbo frets on a smooth ebony board deliver tight low end, strong attack, and effortless string bends.
- Gibraltar Standard III Bridge & Gold Hardware: Solid hardtail bridge paired with precision locking tuners provides maximum sustain and fast string changes.
- Luminescent Side Dots: Glow-in-the-dark side markers ensure clear fretboard navigation on dark stages.
