There is a mix of many different musical influences in Kiko Loureiro's playing style, so he needs a guitar to be well-rounded in order to cover everything he wants to do with the guitar. He and Ibanez worked for a long time, going over many different neck shapes and body shapes before deciding on what works best for him, and nailed it with the KIKO models.
Features
- The S-TECH special roasted treatment provides a superior attack, a well-balanced tone and a rich sustain. In order to achieve supreme neck grip comfort, the fretboard edge is finished with a smooth curve.
- Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid range.
- Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance.
- The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response, good articulation when playing chords and clear tone when playing single notes.
- The Prestige Fret Edge Treatment guarantees effortlessly fast playing.
- The Poplar Burl top features an exotic wood grain and the Alder body delivers a well-balanced bright tone, enriched resonance and sustain.
- Kiko plays a wide range of music, from metal to jazz fusion, and the pickups were designed to reflect this range of sound. The neck and bridge humbuckers have medium output and a balanced sound in terms of frequency response. The single-coil middle pickup is more powerful and warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single-coil in order to balance well with the neck and bridge pickups.
- The Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.
- The T1502 tremolo bridge features steel saddles and a die-cast zinc tremolo block for a quick response and improved articulation. The 10.5mm string spacing allows for easy picking across strings and its snap-in construction makes it easy to load a tremolo arm.
- The coil tap switch adds sound and tonal variations for both pickups.
- The Luminlay side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
- Ibanez Hardshell case gives extreme protection for your beloved instrument.

- We offer FREE Shipping on most orders over $199!
Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
