The Ibanez AE245 Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Natural offers a refined balance of tone, playability, and stage-ready electronics. Designed with the AE body shape, this guitar achieves high comfort and resonance while delivering a well-balanced sound suitable for fingerstyle or strumming. Its solid mahogany top and all-mahogany back and sides create a warm, woody tone with soft response in fingerpicking and punchy high-mids for strumming, complemented by the Scalloped X Bracing and Tone Projection Back Bracing for enhanced sustain and dynamic versatility. Available now from Sky Music Australia, the AE245 is perfect for professional performance or home practice.
The baked mahogany neck features a satin finish for smooth playability, paired with a rosewood fingerboard and elegant wooden inlays for a sophisticated aesthetic. The AE245 includes a compact, onboard active preamp with a mute switch for stable, noise-resistant amplification, making it ideal for live performance. Its under-saddle T-bar pickup ensures each string is balanced and accurately projected through the Ibanez Custom Electronics system.
Every detail, from the bone nut and saddle to the Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, D’Addario EXP strings, and chrome die-cast tuners, is designed to maximize acoustic tone, stability, and comfort. The AE245 is a versatile acoustic-electric guitar built to handle soloing, ensemble playing, and amplified stage performances with clarity and character.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. Please see the full policy for conditions, exemptions and procedures. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
