Expanded Multi-NAM Rigs with Firmware 5.2: The free HeadRush Firmware 5.2 update significantly expands the Flex Prime's native NAM A2 capabilities, allowing you to load up to two NAM A2 Full captures or four NAM A2 Lite captures in a single rig without conversion. Use Stereo Doubling to build true stereo NAM rigs, Switch Doubling to switch between captures within one rig, or combine captured amplifiers, cabinets, pedals, and signal chains for more flexible live and studio setups. Support for NAM A2 Calibration Metadata also honours the input and output levels stored by compatible capture creators, helping deliver more accurate gain matching.

The Flex Prime supports up to 14 DSP blocks per preset across five signal path types, allowing you to combine effects, amp models, cabinet impulse responses, HeadRush clones, SuperClones, and compatible NAM captures. Its included ReValver Amp Cloner desktop software lets you capture the sound of compatible hardware and software amplifiers, cabinets, and drive pedals, while HeadRush Cloud provides access to community-created tones and factory presets from ChopTones® and ReValver®.

Designed for practice, recording, and live performance, the Flex Prime includes a built-in drum machine with 16 kits and 134 styles across 15 genres, plus a looper with up to 20 minutes of layered audio, save/load functionality, and MIDI synchronisation. Bluetooth audio, Dropbox song practice, remote Wi-Fi editing, and a 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface add further flexibility. Five footswitches, an integrated expression pedal, stereo effects loop, and compact steel chassis make it a practical choice for pedalboards and portable rigs.
