The Fender Custom Shop Time Machine ’64 Precision Bass Relic is a faithful throwback to the final year of pre-CBS Fender production, combining classic mid-'60s Precision Bass styling with meticulous Custom Shop craftsmanship. Its 2-piece select alder body delivers a rich, balanced response, while the quarter-sawn maple neck features a robust '60s Oval C profile.
The laminated rosewood fingerboard features a vintage-correct 7.25" radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets, providing a familiar playing feel with modern performance. A Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Precision Bass split-coil pickup delivers the warm, powerful thump and focused midrange that define the classic P Bass sound.
Finished in Bleached 3-Color Sunburst with a masterfully aged nitrocellulose lacquer Relic finish, this Precision Bass features vintage-style hardware, bridge and pickup covers, a 4-ply tortoise pickguard, and other period-inspired appointments. The result is an instrument with the character and appearance of a well-loved vintage classic.

- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
