As she continues to electrify and influence new generations through her music, activism, and uncompromising presence, the Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special channels that same bold spirit into a lean, stage-ready rock ’n’ roll instrument. Finished with a sharp, understated look and built around a straightforward layout, its lone humbucker™ pickup delivers unapologetically powerful tone. This is a guitar defined by attitude and focus—nothing more, nothing less. It’s made for players who want to plug in, crank it up, and be heard, just like Joan.
Inspired by Joan’s original Epiphone Olympic Special, this new version delivers the core elements you need to rock without distractions. It features a lightweight, asymmetrical double cutaway mahogany body designed for comfort and freedom of movement, paired with a glued-in mahogany neck shaped to the Olympic Special profile. The rosewood fretboard has a 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid dot inlays. The headstock carries the classic Olympic Special silhouette and is fitted with die-cast tuners and a Graph Tech® nut for dependable tuning stability. A gold reproduction of Joan’s signature appears on the back of the headstock for an added personal touch.
At its core is a single PowerHammer ProBucker™ pickup, delivering direct, unfiltered tone. Controls are intentionally simple yet effective: a single CTS® volume potentiometer topped with a black Speed knob featuring a rubber grip for confident handling and precise adjustment. An on/off toggle switch adds kill-switch capability, completing the stripped-back control setup.
Capturing Joan’s unmistakable style and spirit, the Joan Jett Olympic Special is a focused instrument for players inspired by Joan’s fearless approach to sound and performance, making it ideal for both fans and players alike. Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
