The unmistakable Hummingbird™, now in a Deluxe cutaway version, is part of the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom lineup. Designed in collaboration with the Gibson Custom acoustic team in Bozeman, Montana, the Hummingbird Deluxe EC features solid rosewood back and sides for a rich, full-bodied tone, paired with a thermally aged solid spruce top for pre-aged resonance. The cutaway body provides easy access to upper frets, ideal for lead guitarists and players exploring the entire fretboard. The spruce top is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing, crafted from quartersawn solid spruce, giving the guitar an enhanced volume and tonal clarity akin to years of wood aging in a brand-new instrument.
The Hummingbird Deluxe EC is built with a one-piece mahogany neck in a Rounded C profile, glued in using a dovetail joint, and topped with an ebony fretboard featuring 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays. Its premium aesthetic is further enhanced by 6-ply top binding, 4-ply back binding, single-ply fretboard and headstock binding, and gold hardware including Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. The Gibson “open book” headstock is adorned with the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown in mother-of-pearl, while the acrylic-celluloid pickguard showcases classic Hummingbird graphics etched in gold. Bone nut, compensated saddle, and bridge pins complement the reverse belly ebony bridge, ensuring precise intonation and sustain.
Equipped with L.R. Baggs VTC Bronze electronics, with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, the Hummingbird Deluxe EC is stage and studio-ready. It comes with the Epiphone Protector Ultralite case, a hybrid design inspired by historic Red Line cases that blends the portability of a gig bag with the security of a hardshell case. The case includes a plush lining, interior compartments for accessories, reinforced nylon web handle, and padded shoulder straps for easy travel. Note: a 9-volt battery is required for the preamp (not included).

Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
