The Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut Reissue, developed in partnership with Gibson Custom, is a faithful recreation of one of the most sought-after vintage models in guitar history. Inspired by the classic 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut, this reissue brings together vintage style, authentic tone, and modern reliability at an accessible price point.
Originally introduced in the 1950s as an upgraded version of the Les Paul Junior, the Special featured two P-90 pickups for expanded tonal range and a bound fretboard for added refinement. By 1960, the model had evolved into a double cutaway design with a thinner SlimTaper™ neck profile for faster playability and improved upper fret access — features that made it a favorite among rock, blues, and punk players alike.
This Epiphone reissue stays true to that legacy, with a slab mahogany body, one-piece SlimTaper™ mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. Authentic details include Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and a historic aluminum wraparound bridge with intonation screws for rock-solid tuning stability and sustain.
At the heart of this guitar are two USA-made Gibson Custom P-90 Soapbar pickups, hand-wired with CTS® potentiometers and Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors for a true vintage signal path. These iconic single-coils deliver everything from sweet cleans to snarling overdrive, making this guitar as versatile as it is powerful.
Complete with a vintage-style brown hard case with pink plush interior, the Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut Reissue is more than just an instrument — it’s an authentic vintage experience brought to modern players.

- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.

Returns Procedure

Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
