Built for Low Tunings, No Compromises
The KX500 Baritone takes the KX500 platform down to a 28.03" (712 mm) scale for heavy, tight low-end tunings without losing definition. It shares its finish and core body and neck design with the standard KX500 Pale Moon, and pairs a Seymour Duncan Sentient and Nazgul pickup set with stainless steel frets, Cort locking tuners, a Macassar ebony fingerboard and a Black TUSQ nut. Ships strung with D’Addario EXL157 (.014–.068).
Purpose-built for players who demand a responsive playing feel, clear articulation, and rock-solid tuning stability in lower registers. The baritone scale length, 5-piece roasted maple and walnut neck, and Seymour Duncan® pickups deliver the definition and power modern heavy music demands.
Whether you're exploring drop tunings, progressive metal, ambient textures, or crushing high-gain rhythms, the KX500 Baritone stays focused, responsive, and inspiring. Its push-pull coil-tap system expands its tonal range, moving from powerful humbucker tones to brighter, more articulate sounds with ease.
Built to go lower. Designed to go further.
