The Behringer Vintage Tube Monster VT999 is a guitar overdrive pedal featuring a real 12AX7 preamp tube for warm, smooth overdrive, rich sustain, and sweet harmonics. Designed to deliver the character of real tube overdrive, it provides a wide range of boosted guitar tones.
A hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube provides warm, even-order harmonics, while the VT999's adjustable noise gate gently reduces pickup hiss from the signal path. Separate Gain and Master controls give you control over the amount of overdrive and overall output level.
The built-in 3-band EQ makes it easy to shape your tone, from scooped lead sounds to punchy, present riff tones. True-bypass switching preserves your guitar's tone when the effect is switched off.
The VT999 runs from the included Behringer 9V DC power supply, making it a practical addition to a guitar pedalboard for players seeking a tube-driven overdrive sound.
