Take classic PAF character into the modern era with the Bare Knuckle PolyPaf Humbucker Set - Covered, Gold, available from Sky Music Australia. Designed as Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood’s signature humbucker set, the PolyPafs combine the exceptional dynamics, clarity, and three-dimensional response of authentic PAF-style pickups with the versatility, energy, and controlled performance demanded by modern players.
Built using 100% vintage-correct parts and drawing on the foundations of The Mule and Stormy Monday humbuckers, PolyPafs feature a custom wind offset using 42AWG Plain Enamel wire, unoriented Alnico V rough-cast magnets, and a unique combination of high-carbon steel slugs under the wound strings. Their judicious output balances dynamic headroom with rich midrange drive, while the open voice, controlled bass, and excellent string separation keep every note clear even with low tunings and heavy string gauges.
The bridge pickup delivers everything from plaintive cleans and vocal jazz-fusion leads to raunchy chords and aggressive high-gain riffing, while the neck pickup offers exceptionally sensitive, articulate, syrupy response that becomes woody and percussive when played hard. Finished with classic Gold covers, the PolyPaf set is equally at home in blues rock, neo-soul, classic rock, and modern metal, making it a versatile choice for solid-body, semi-hollow, baritone, and multi-scale guitars.

Orders that may incur a shipping surcharge:
- Large and Heavy items (Large Amps and Cabinets, Pianos, Drum Kits)
- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.
We apologise in advance if this affects you. Please feel free to contact us prior to checkout for more information.
Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.

Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
