Bring massive output, tight low-end control, and exceptional clarity to your guitar with the Bare Knuckle Halcyon Humbucker Set - Open, available from Sky Music Australia. Developed with Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer, Adam “Nolly” Getgood, and Tim Mills, the Halcyon set was designed primarily for 7-string guitars tuned down to F#, delivering powerful modern metal tones alongside highly articulate ambient cleans.
The bridge humbucker features a twin-blade pole design and three custom-sized ceramic magnets, combining a hot wind with controlled low-end response, an aggressive midrange, and precise high-end attack. The neck pickup uses a more moderate wind and an isotropic Alnico V magnet for greater dynamic headroom, producing a woody, bright voice that works especially well alongside the bridge for expressive clean tones.
Both Halcyon pickups provide excellent string-to-string balance across different gauges and tunings and are particularly practical for multi-scale guitars. They also offer exceptional coil-split tones and perform equally well when wired in parallel. Each pickup is hand-wound and hand-assembled at the Bare Knuckle workshops in Cornwall, UK, making the Halcyon set an ideal choice for modern metal, progressive styles, baritones, and extended-range instruments.

- Delivery to Remote/ Rural Areas
Customers outside of Australian Metro areas please be advised that we cannot offer free shipping on bulky items to certain rural areas.
If this applies to your order we will be in contact ASAP after checkout. This may result in a partial shipping cost after checkout or orders being refunded and cancelled due to our usual courier services being unable to service certain rural areas.

Drop Ship Orders Drop ship orders are shipped directly from our Australian based suppliers. Please allow for 1-2 extra business days for drop ship orders to be dispatched.
Delivery Time Orders are dispatched within 1 -2 business days and usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive within Australia. If for any reason there may be a delay, we will contact you within 2 business days. Delivery times may take longer for rural/ remote areas.
If you have any concerns, or require an item to be delivered by a certain date, please contact us so that we can try our best help you receive your order on time.
Tracking Your Order Tracking details will be emailed to you as soon as your order has been processed for shipping. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please feel free to contact us for assistance!
Returns Procedure
- Read the full Returns Policy HERE To initiate a return please provide the requested information in the "Returns & Exchanges Form". We will get back to you as possible with a Return Authorisation and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will be in contact to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, we will process the return as a refund, exchange or store credit as quickly as possible.
30-Day Returns Policy Here at Sky Music, we want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your new product for any reason you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit within 30 days of purchase. For metro-Melbourne orders we charge a flat rate of $18 for change of mind swaps and exchanges & returns and staff will advise for interstate, rural and Victorian areas outside of the metro-Melbourne area.
