The Akai Professional MPK Mini Plus II is the second-generation version of Akai’s 37-key compact controller, built for producers, beatmakers and performers who want hands-on control in a portable package. It pairs an upgraded 37-key mini keybed with eight RGB MPC pads that now respond to aftertouch, plus a full-colour 160 x 80 display.
Eight assignable 360° encoders, a push encoder, pitch and mod wheels and transport controls give you hands-on control of instruments, effects and your DAW. A refreshed arpeggiator, Scale and Chord modes, MPC Note Repeat and new Glitch, Mutate, Strum, Freeze and Follow tools help you build ideas quickly and keep them moving.
It connects and powers over USB-C and adds a 5-pin MIDI out, three 3.5 mm CV/Gate outputs for modular and analogue gear, and a sustain pedal input. It works directly with MPC Standalone and MPC Desktop and with most major DAWs, and comes with MPC Beats, Native Instruments Komplete Select (Akai Edition) and the Studio Instrument Collection of more than 1,000 sounds from AIR Music Technology, Moog and Akai.
