The Meinl Cymbals HCS Dark 18" Crash Cymbal delivers a punchy, focused sound with a distinctive dark tonal character. Constructed from specially treated MS63 brass, it responds quickly with a strong attack before fading with short sustain. Its naturally controlled tone makes it well suited to accents and dynamic emphasis, helping drummers add impact without excessive cymbal wash.
Part of Meinl's HCS Dark series, this crash combines a controlled response with a bold, dark finish for a distinctive look on stage or in the studio. It blends exceptionally well with other HCS crash cymbals, making it a versatile addition to a compatible cymbal setup. Made in Germany, the HCS series provides accessible cymbal options for beginner and student drummers looking to develop their sound and build out their drum kits.
