Line 6 Helix Stadium Amp Modeler and FX Processor

The Line 6 Helix Stadium Amp Modeler and FX Processor represents the next generation of guitar amp modelling and multi-effects processing. Powered by Line 6 Agoura™ modelling technology, it recreates the behaviour and interaction of real-world amplifier and effects circuits, delivering expressive dynamics, authentic tones and a responsive playing experience for professional musicians, producers and sound designers.

The Helix Stadium 1.4 “The Eras Update”, released on 13 October 2026, delivers a major expansion of the sound library with 14 new Agoura amp channels from six amps, six new effects and improvements to existing Agoura amp models. Highlights include Brit SL100 amp channels inspired by different generations of Marshall® Plexi Superlead amplifiers, covering classic British tones from vintage character to higher-gain, mid-focused rock sounds. The update brings the Agoura library to 67 amp channels, combining with 111 HX amp channels for 178 amp channels in total.

Firmware 1.4 also introduces six important new features: USB editing through the Helix Stadium app, Showcase™ stem separation using Yamaha Music Connect, Showcase Skip Marker for automatically skipping designated song sections, nested folders for Proxy clones, mono/stereo effect switching and expanded MIDI control of the Matrix Cue Mixer. These improvements provide greater flexibility for editing, backing-track management, sound organisation, live performance automation and independent monitor mixing.

Helix Stadium combines an 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen with Focus View editing, 12 footswitches featuring colour-coded LED rings and Hype control for shaping polished, mix-ready tones. Its Showcase™ engine supports performance automation for patch changes, MIDI equipment, lighting and video, while the Matrix Cue Mixer provides flexible output and monitoring control for live and studio applications.

With 16 Agoura-powered guitar amp models, six Agoura bass amps, more than 200 effects, cabinet simulations and impulse response support, Helix Stadium offers a versatile platform for creating detailed sounds and performance setups. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and USB-C audio interface functionality support compatible wireless control and DAW recording. The Proxy cloud-based gear cloning engine is planned for a future release, according to the supplied product information.
