The Thomastik-Infeld IN346 Infeld Superalloy 6-string bass set is specifically formulated for modern electric bass guitars, delivering a warm, modern tone that is exceptionally well-balanced across the entire frequency spectrum. Engineered to faithfully capture the warmth, punch, and depth of your instrument, this set delivers fat, rounded lows, throaty mids, and solid highs without brittleness, providing seamless musical coverage from the high C down to the low B.
Crafted in Vienna by Thomastik-Infeld—pioneers in string innovation since 1919—these strings feature precision microprocessor-controlled round winding over a resilient steel core. The outer layer utilizes a specialized Superalloy winding that remains significantly easier on your fretwork than stainless steel while maintaining commanding output, dependable intonation up and down the neck, and meticulous string-to-string balance. Calibrated for standard 34" long scale basses, this uncoated .030–.125 set offers an articulate, professional response across all six strings.
