The Fender American Professional Precision Bass V combines more than seventy years of Precision Bass innovation with modern refinements designed for today's working bassists. Finished in Dark Night with a rosewood fingerboard and alder body, this five-string bass delivers the familiar punch and growl of the P Bass in a professional instrument built for comfortable playability and reliable performance.
Its maple neck features a modified 1963 "C" profile, rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish and a sculpted neck heel for comfortable playing and easy access to the upper register. The V-Mod III split-coil Precision Bass V pickup provides articulate sound with the characteristic punch and growl of the Precision Bass, while ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers offer smooth, consistent control. A five-saddle HiMass Pro bridge supports increased sustain, and the bass includes a Deluxe Molded hardshell case.
