The all-new G6228TG Players Edition Jet BT from Gretsch gives you powerful overdrive and shimmering cleans at the stomp of a switch.
These Jets featured Chambered Mahogany Bodies which allows for rich acoustics. Slide on a maple top to let the mids soar and you've got a well balanced, harmonically full instrument. So let's check out the pickups!
Tim Shaw has certainly been busy. His newly designed Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 pickups are built to handle the interesting sonic palette produced by the G6288TG. They harness those mids and make them powerful whilst also extending the guitar's low range. The top end of these pick up really add that "shimmer" with super clear and smooth highs. Perfect for overdrive and surprisingly versatile in creating shimmering clean tones.
