behringer-sc88-stageconnect-interface-8in-8out
Behringer SC88 Stageconnect Interface - 8in/8out

The Behringer SC88 is an 8-input/8-output StageConnect interface that combines both directions of audio I/O in a single 1U unit. It features eight TRIAD mic preamps on balanced combo jacks with individually switchable 48V phantom power, along with eight balanced XLR line outputs using high-performance ESS DAC conversion.

The integrated TRIAD mic preamps provide pristine audio, high common-mode rejection for clean noise rejection, stable performance across a wide range of source impedances, and precise 0.5 dB analog gain steps. Gain and preamp settings can be adjusted remotely from any StageConnect-enabled console or from the desktop control panel over USB.

SC88 provides eight microphone inputs and eight line outputs simultaneously over StageConnect, with Ultranet input and output ports and remote power carried over the same cable. This allows inputs, outputs, control data, and power to be integrated through a single StageConnect connection.

The interface also transmits and receives MIDI commands to and from other Behringer StageConnect products, such as the SC-U USB interface. This allows audio and MIDI control data to share the same infrastructure, supporting applications such as recording a stage piano's stereo output and MIDI directly to a DAW or switching patches in the piano from the DAW.

Features

8 TRIAD mic preamps on balanced combo jacks

Individually switchable 48V phantom power

8 balanced XLR line outputs

High-performance ESS DAC conversion

Integrated TRIAD mic preamps with high common-mode rejection

Stable performance across a wide range of source impedances

0.5 dB analog gain steps

Remote preamp control from StageConnect-enabled consoles

Desktop control panel control over USB

Ultranet input and output ports

Remote power over the StageConnect cable

Transmits and receives MIDI commands with other Behringer StageConnect products

8 inputs and 8 outputs in a single 1U unit

Specs

Brand: Behringer

Model: SC88

Type: StageConnect Interface

Configuration: 8 In / 8 Out

Number of Preamps: 8 TRIAD

Analog Inputs: 8 x Balanced Combo Jacks

Analog Outputs: 8 x Balanced XLR

Phantom Power: 48V, Individually Switchable

DAC: High-Performance ESS

Gain Steps: 0.5 dB Analog

USB: Desktop Control Panel

Network: StageConnect

Ultranet: Input and Output

Remote Power: Over StageConnect Cable

MIDI: Transmit and Receive

Rack Spaces: 1U
